Research Interests

Broadly speaking, I am interested in problems relating to prediction, subgroup identification, and cancer clinical trials, and much of my research has been in the area of personalized medicine. My recent work has focused on surrogate endpoint evaluation and the design of phase II clinical trials in oncology. I have a great appreciation for statistical methods that are motivated by real problems, as such methods are likely to be used in practice.
